(١): جائیداد حقداروں میں متوفی پر واجب الادا قرض دینے اور وصیت کو پورا کرنے کے بعد تقسیم ہوگی.

(٢): اگر صاحب جائیداد خود اپنی جائیداد تقسیم کرے تو اس پر واجب ہے کہ پہلے اگر کوئی قرض ہے تو اسے اتارے، جن لوگوں سے اس نے وعدے کیۓ ہیں ان وعدوں کو پورا کرے اور تقسیم کے وقت جو رشتےدار، یتیم اور مسکین حاضر ہوں ان کو بھی کچھ دے.

(٣): اگر صاحب جائیداد فوت ہوگیا اور اس نے کوئی وصیت نہیں کی اور نہ ہی جائیداد تقسیم کی تو متوفی پر واجب الادا قرض دینے کے بعد جائیداد صرف حقداروں میں ہی تقسیم ہوگی.

جائیداد کی تقسیم میں جائز حقدار:

(١): صاحب جائیداد مرد ہو یا عورت انکی جائیداد کی تقسیم میں جائیداد کے حق دار اولاد، والدین، بیوی، اور شوہر ہوتے ہیں.

(٢): اگر صاحب جائیداد کے والدین نہیں ہیں تو جائیداد اہل خانہ میں ہی تقسیم ہوگی.

(٣): اگر صاحب جائیداد کلالہ ہو اور اسکے سگے بہن بھائی بھی نہ ہوں تو کچھ حصہ سوتیلے بہن بھائی کو جاۓ گا اور باقی نزدیکی رشتے داروں میں جو ضرورت مند ہوں نانا، نانی، دادا، دادی، خالہ، ماموں، پھوپھی، چچا، تایا یا انکی اولاد کو ملے گا.

(1): شوہر کی جائیداد میں بیوی یا بیویوں کا حصہ:

(١): شوہر کی جائیداد میں بیوی کا حصہ آٹھواں (1/8) یا چوتھائی (1/4) ہے.

(٢): اگر ایک سے زیادہ بیویاں ہونگی تو ان میں وہی حصہ تقسیم ہوجاۓ گا.

(٣): اگر شوہر کے اولاد ہے تو جائیداد کا آٹھواں (1/8) حصہ بیوی کا ہے، چھٹا (1/6) حصہ شوہر کے والدین کا ہے اور باقی بچوں کا ہے.

(٤): اگر شوہر کے اولاد میں فقط لڑکیاں ہی ہوں دو یا زائد تو جائیداد کا دو تہائی (2/3) حصہ لڑکیوں کا ہوگا، بیوی کیلئے آٹھواں (1/8) حصہ اور جائیداد کا چھٹا (1/6) حصہ شوہر کے والدین کیلئے ہے.

(٥): اگر شوہر کے اولاد میں صرف ایک لڑکی ہو تو جائیداد کا نصف (1/2) حصہ لڑکی کا ہے، بیوی کیلئے جائیداد کا آٹھواں (1/8) حصہ ہے اور شوہر کے والدین کا چھٹا (1/6) حصہ ہے.

THE SINDH CONSUMER PROTECTION ACT, 2014.

to provide and protect the rights and interests of consumers in the

Province of Sindh.

Whereas, it is expedient to provide for protection and

promotion of the rights and interests of the consumers, speedy

redress of consumer complaints and for matters connected

therewith;

PRELIMINARY

Part-I

It is hereby enacted as follows:-

Preamble.

1. (1) This Act may be called the Sindh Consumer Protection Act, 2014.

(2) It shall extend to whole of the Province of Sindh.

(3) It shall come into force at once.

Short title, extent

and

commencement.

2. In this Act, unless there is anything repugnant in the subject or

context –

(a) “Act" means the Sindh Consumer Protection Act,

2014;

(b) “Advertisement” includes advertisement-

(i) by all commercial communities of any kind

through any means including media;

(ii) by display of notices, play cards or price lists;

(iii) by means of banners, bill boards, cards, catalogues,

circulars, hand bills, labels neon printing (on

vehicles or other things), sign boards, wall banners,

wall chalking or other documents or materials;

(iv) by the exhibition of films, Jingles, paintings,

photographs or pictures;

(v) by means of broadcasting, cable operation, internet,

short messaging service (SMS), satellite

communication, telecasting, telecommunication or

wireless communication; and

(vi) by means of peddler or hawker and proclamation

vocally or by loud speaker or mega phones.

Definitions.

(c) "Authority" means the Secretary or Director

General, Supply and Prices Department or any

other officer notified by Government.

(d) “Complainant” means:-

(i) a consumer; or

(ii) a voluntary consumer’s association;

(iii) Government; and

(iv) the council or a District Protection Council.

(e) "Consumer" means a person or entity who-

(i) buys or obtain on lease any product for a consideration and

includes any user of such product but does not include a

person who obtains any product for resale or for any

commercial purpose; or

(ii) hires any service for a consideration and includes any

beneficiary of such services,

Mari Petroleum Company Limited (MPCL) (formerly, Mari Gas Company Limited) is a Pakistani petroleum exploration and production company based in Islamabad, Pakistan. The company is controlled by the Fauji Foundation with 40 percent shares.<sup>[2]</sup>

It is operating the country’s second largest gas reservoir at Mari Field, District Ghotki, Sindh. MPCL is primarily engaged in exploration, development and production of hydrocarbon products (natural gas, crude oil, condensate, and liquified petroleum gas).<sup>[3]</sup>

It is listed and traded on the Pakistan Stock Exchange.<sup>[4]</sup>

Qadirpur gas field is one of the major gas reserves of Pakistan. The field is located at a distance of 8 kilometres (5.0 mi) from Ghotki in Sindh Province.

Discovered in March 1990, it is a joint venture between Oil and Gas Development Company, KUFPEC Pakistan B.V., PKP Exploration Ltd (Premier Oil), PKP2 Exploration Ltd (KUFPEC) and Petroleum Pakistan Limited, each holding 75%, 8.5%, 4.75%, 4.75% and 7% respectively.

The Qadirpur gas field is currently one of OGDCL largest operated gas producing fields, accounting for 34%, 32% and 29% of OGDCL net gas production for 2012, 2013 and 2014, respectively. The field is located 8 km from Ghotki, 70 km northeast of Sukkur and 100 km east of Jacobabad in Sindh province.its it is located from main (90km,sadiqabad = karachi, 540km) highway road stop ahmed ki , 4 km away inside. Gas production on this field commenced in September 1995 by pm benazir bhutto after the installation of gas gathering facilities and processing plants. Of the 70 wells that have been drilled at this field, 57 are currently producing wells. Six have been abandoned, five are shut-in and two are water disposal wells. For FY 2015-16, average net daily production at this field was 250.56 MMscfd of purified gas with 67 MMscfd of permeate gas. The field’s main customers are Sui Northern Gas Pipeline Company Limited, Engro Powergen Limited near ghotki and Liberty Power Limited dahrki (320 mw power supply generating).

A gas processing facility of 600 MMscfd was installed at Qadirpur during 2006-7. In order to address declining reservoir pressures, gas compression facilities were being installed at the field to maintain sales gas supply at contractual delivery pressures.

The natural gas is purified by a membrane separation process that removes water vapor and carbon dioxide. The processing equipment was supplied by Honeywell’s UOP Separex™ Membrane Systems division. The process consists of ten trains of membrane skids, each containing many spiral-wound membrane elements.

During the second quarter of 2009-10, average daily sales from Qadirpur was 430 MMscfd purified gas and 25 MMscfd dehydrated gas, which was sold to SNGPL, 45 MMscfd raw gas sold to Liberty Power and 970 barrels of condensate. The field was developed in three phases,

CHAPTER 1
Introductory
1. Short title, extent and commencement: (1) This Act maybe called the Arbitration Act, 1940. 2) It extends to the whole of Pakistan.
3) It shall come into force on the 1st day of July, 1940.
2. Definitions: In this Act, unless there is anything repugnant in the subject or context,-
a) “arbitration agreement” means a written agreement to submit present or future differences to arbitration, whether an arbitrator is named therein or not
b) “award” means an arbitration award;
c) “Court” means a Civil Court having jurisdiction to decide the question forming the subject-matter of reference if the same had been the subject-matter of a suit, but does not, except for the purpose of arbitration proceedings under Section 21, include a Small Cause Court;
d) “legal representative” means a person who in law represents the estate of a deceased person, and includes any person who intermeddles with the estate of the deceased, and, where a party acts in a representative character, the person on whom the estate devolves on the death of the party so acting;
e) “reference” means a reference to arbitration.

Short title and
commencement.
2. In this Act, unless there is anything repugnant in the subject or context-
(a) “abetment” means abetment as defined under section 107 of the Pakistan
Penal Code (XLV of 1860);
(b) “abettor” means a person who abets an offence as described under
section 108 of the Pakistan Penal Code (XLV of 1860);
(c) “Act” means the “Sindh Public Property (Removal of Encroachment)
Act, 2010”;
(d) “ autonomous body” means a board, corporation, institution,

Sindh Land Revenue Act 1967 THE SINDH LAND REVENUE ACT, 1967 Updated up to THE SINDH LAND REVENUE (AMENDMENT) ACT, 2013. 7th DECEMBER, 1967          [First Published, after having received the assent of the Governor of West Pakistan, in the Gazette of West Pakistan (Extraordinary) dated the 7th December, 1967.]         An ACT to consolidate and amend the law relating to Land Revenue in the Province of Sindh. Preamble-          WHEREAS it is expedient to consolidate and amend the law relating to the making and maintenance of records-of-rights, the assessment and collection of land revenue, the appointment and functions of Revenue Officers and other matters connected with the Land Revenue Administration in the Province of Sindh, or incidental thereto;  It is hereby enacted as follows: - CHAPTER I  PRELIMINARY 1.    Short title extent and commencement-  (1)     This Act may be called the Sindh Land-Revenue Act, 1967. (2)     It extends to the whole of the Province of Sindh. (3)     It or any specified provision thereof shall come into operation in such area or areas and on such date or dates as Government may, by notification, appoint in this behalf. 2.     Power to except any area from provisions unsuited thereto- (1)     Should the circumstances of any area in which this Act, or any specified provision thereof, has been brought into force be such that, in the opinion of Government, that provision, or any other provision of the Act, is unsuited thereto, Government may, by notification, except that area from the operation of such provisions, and thereupon those provisions shall not apply to such area until the notification is rescinded.
