The payment made to PSO will be credited to their main account maintained with HBL
Corporate Centre Karachi Branch bearing Account No. 0786 40324532 17.
I/We accordingly hereby authorise HBL as follows:
 That HBL shall debit my/our account mentioned above for all such amounts as may be
advised to HBL by PSO through the Online Order Management System (“OOMS”) in favour
of PSO from time to time through the Funds Transfer Instruction/ Direct Debit Instruction.
 That HBL is hereby irrevocably authorized to carry out the above instructions through
OOMS without any reference to me/us and without any inquiry from me/us as to the
justification or otherwise of the Funds Transfer Instruction/ Direct Debit Instruction to
my/our Account.
 All the terms and conditions attached with this Funds Transfer Instruction/ Direct Debit
Instruction shall always be deemed as an integral part of this standing order and that this
standing order itself is a formal contract on the basis of explicit consent from my/our side.
Terms & Conditions
1. That I/we shall not be entitled to direct/instruct/ amend/vary/modify/withdraw/cancel any
instruction stated herein or otherwise in writing or in any manner whatsoever to HBL in
respect of any matter of and incidental to the authorization for Funds Transfer Instruction/
Direct Debit Instruction and HBL is hereby expressly and irrevocably authorized to
ignore/disregard such instructions from me/us, if any, unless specifically authorised by PSO
in writing.
2. That HBL shall provide to PSO information about my account or accounts, including
statement of account, acknowledgement and receipt of this letter as and when requested by
the PSO.
3. That my/our Account will be closed only on receipt of NOC in writing to this effect from PSO
and all sums in respect of which HBL has received Funds Transfer Instruction/ Direct Debit
Instructions, will be paid out prior to closure of my/our Account or accounts with HBL
4. That all sums in my/our Account in respect of which HBL has received Funds Transfer
Instruction/ Direct Debit Instructions are for the benefit of PSO for the purpose of making
payment to PSO for products supplied or will be supplied to me/us by PSO.
5. That HBL shall promptly notify PSO in the event of any claim, order, and notice of
attachment or other demand being received from a third party or a court of law pertaining to
my /our Account.
6. That after Funds Transfer Instruction/ Direct Debit Instructions are received, HBL shall not
delay transfer of funds from my/our Account to PSO Main Account and that such transfer
shall be done within the time period as agreed between HBL and PSO.

7. That HBL may dishonour the Funds Transfer Instruction/ Direct Debit Instruction with
electronic intimation (or any other mode as agreed between HBL & PSO) to PSO through
OOMS, on the same day when the Funds Transfer Instruction/ Direct debit Instruction is/are
received by HBL provided there is insufficient balance in my/our Account.
8. That in the event of dishonour of any Funds Transfer Instruction/ Direct Debit Instruction for
reasons abovementioned or otherwise, any damage or loss to PSO or HBL shall be
compensated from my/our Account
9. That in case of any erroneous details/order given by me/us to PSO, which is forwarded to
HBL through OOMS, any damage, loss or cost suffered by HBL or PSO will always be
debited/adjusted from my/our account; or in case of insufficient account balance, will be paid
by me/us from my/our any other resources.
10. I/We shall maintain sufficient balance in the above mentioned account to enable HBL to carry
out any Funds Transfer Instruction/ Direct Debit Instruction (payment amount plus any
bank charges, if applicable) given by me/us in relation to the above mentioned account on
each and every payment date.
11. That neither HBL, nor any of its branches, correspondents or agents will be held responsible
for any loss, delay, error or omission arising out of any mode of communication used for
effecting payments under the Funds Transfer Instruction/ Direct Debit Instruction, given
by me/us provided it does not arise from wilful, deliberate and negligent act/default on the
part of the Bank and or its officials, as stated above.
12. That the Funds Transfer Instruction/ Direct Debit Instruction shall remain in full force and
effect until advised by the Customer in writing to HBL that no further payment is required
pursuant to the standing order. In such cases, HBL may terminate this order as to future
payments by giving notice in writing to PSO for its consent thereon or after being advised by
PSO in writing that no further payment is required.
13. That on the date of the payment pursuant to the Funds Transfer Instruction/ Direct Debit
Instruction, HBL reserves the right to determine priority of the payments to be made against
cheques or other payments instructions presented to HBL or any other existing arrangements
made with HBL, provided always that in any case all payments against such Funds Transfer
Instruction/ Direct Debit Instruction shall be made on the same day.
14. That in the event of my/our death, incapacity, bankruptcy or insolvency, HBL shall not be
liable for any loss pursuant to such event and will continue to effect transactions under the
standing order, unless and until HBL and PSO have received written notice of cancellation of
the relevant standing order together with satisfactory documentary and other evidence
including an order from the court of law establishing the authority of the person executing
such written notice.
15. That in the case of a payment date pursuant to the Funds Transfer Instruction/ Direct Debit
Instruction falling on a holiday, HBL will effect the payment on the next working date.
16. If there are insufficient funds in the above mentioned account to carry out the Funds
Transfer Instruction/ Direct Debit Instruction, HBL may without notice to me/us cancel the
Funds Transfer Instruction/ Direct Debit Instruction and inform PSO accordingly
17. Any amendment/cancellation of a Funds Transfer Instruction/ Direct Debit Instruction by
me/us shall be in writing, however the same shall not be deemed to have any effect and or be
enforceable unless it is consented and agreed upon by PSO.

18. That if a Funds Transfer Instruction/ Direct Debit Instruction is, or purports to be, signed
or executed by or on behalf of more than one person then the liability of each such person to
HBL under these terms and conditions shall be joint and several and each and every
agreement and obligation herein shall be construed accordingly.
